Our Rules Rules

  • All pitches to be vacated by 11am on the day of departure.
  • Strictly no heaters in Awnings
  • Please leave pitches tidy and all rubbish to be placed in the bins around the toilet block.
  • Dogs must be kept on leads around the site and woodland areas. Please clean up after your dog and place it in the bins provided.
  • Quite time after 11pm.
  • In the interest of safety please do not swim in the lakes.
  • Please keep your speed down on the road and site. A speed limit is in place (1st gear).
  • Any visitors must check in at reception and park in the car park. Visitors must vacate the site by 8pm.
  • No foul language or horseplay at any time.
  • When arriving on site please make yourselves aware of the fire points around your pitch.
  • Please leave the toilets, showers and pot wash areas as you would like to find them.
  • The showers are operated by a wave sensor to the right of the shower, it will stay on for 90 seconds, you can also wave to turn it off to save water.
  • Some of our pitches have new electric hook ups, just plug in your lead all the way home and turn it on, this will lock your lead in. When leaving turn socket off before unplugging.
  • Barbecues are allowed on site for cooking only. No open fires and no damage to be caused to the grass.
  • Gates close at 11pm (please see reception if you wish to stay out after this time.)
  • Over 18’s only.
  • No overnight stays in vehicles or on pitch in cars allowed

Here at Lakeside we would like to wish all our guests an enjoyable stay and please adhere to the park rules or you may be asked to leave the site . No Refunds will be given.

  • You may let your dog off in the exercise field behind the toilet block. Please clean up after your dog and place it in the bins provided.
  • You are responsible for your dogs actions please be respectful of other users anf dogs.
  • Please keep dogs on a lead in the woodland walking areas and on site.

All fishing to be paid for before putting gear out on peg

  • No night fishing.
  • No Braided lines including hook links.
  • No ground bait or boilies
  • No surface fishing.
  • Maximum 2 rods per person
  • All fish to be landed in large nets, no keep nets allowed.
  • Must have valid fishing licence
  • No unattended rods.
  • Use first aid antiseptic spay to any cuts or damage to the fishes body or mouth
  • Hook size 8-10, barbless on specimen woodpecker lake, hook size 12-14 barbless on small kingfisher lake
  • Landing nets to be dipped in disinfectant bins around site before fishing.
  • Breaking strain 14lbs ish
  • Excess bait to be taken home not thrown in the lake.
  • No cat or dog meat/food to be used as bait.
  • Fish cradle/bath must be used
  • No bivvys or fishing equipment to be left out on banks over night.(only seasonal pitches or pitches with private fishing peg)
  • When using a method feeder it needs to be free running not elasticated and the hook line length min 6 inches.
