Lakeside has been developing over the last 30years , It is set in 50 acres of grounds consisting of 3 lakes , grassed and woodland areas for your enjoyment, the grounds are well kept and there are some lovely woodland walks for your furry friends πŸ•
We have some well stocked fishing lakes with a large variety of fish 🐟
There is a on site cafe that is open in season all day Thursday through to Sunday and bank holiday Mondays β˜•οΈ you can get a full English breakfast .🍳
Or if you prefer tea and cake. 🍰
We have lots of cycle 🚲 and walking paths in the area .There is a disused railway track that leads you through to the historic town of Lincoln it’s on route 64 which also calls off at Donnington hall a 15 th century building that is well worth a visit .
The nearest village to the site is Saxilby only 3 miles away which has two pubs a Chinese and a fish and chip shop, or Harby 3 miles away which hosts the award winning country pub The Bottle and Glass 🍷that is dog friendly and has a excellent outdoor terrace for alfresco dinning
Newark is also worth a visit it is 15 miles away it is a market town with the river Trent flowing through it, there is boat 🚀 trips down the river in season and walks along the river bank and historic Newark castle
If you just want peace and tranquillity Lakeside is the place to come just pitch up chill and enjoy 😊
